Logistics and shipping veteran, Dr. Pushpendra Pratap Singh, Country Head – Asia Shipping International Transport Pvt. Ltd. has been honored with Doctorate Degree and ‘Outstanding Individual Achievements & Distinguished Service to the Nation’ award in capacity of Country Head – Asia Shipping International Transport Pvt. Ltd. by Sardar Iqbal Singh Lal Pura in the capacity of Hon’ble Chairman – National Commission forMinorities, Govt. of India. He was also conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award for ‘Outstanding achievement and remarkable role in Shipping & Logistics’ by Bharat Gaurav Shri Samman Parishad duly recognized by Govt. of India recently.
Dr. Singh was born and raised in a small city of District Aligarh, UP, and finished his Senior Secondary education. Having completed his graduation from Ch.Charan Singh University in 1996 and to pursue his dreams, he came to Delhi tofurther study at GNIIT in 2001 from NIIT. Further, he completed his postgraduation from AIMA-CMA, New Delhi.
Currently working as “Country Head” in a Latin American Based Multinational –Asia Shipping International Transport Pvt. Ltd. he is successfully managing theworking team across India. In his long career, he has made remarkable strides in the fields of Pharma, Whitegoods, Retail goods, Sanitaryware, Paper & Pulp industry. In his endeavor ofIndustrial growth, he carved a niche in the automotive sector. Having a grass-root level understanding, he has visited topline Industrial houses wherein he successfully delivered various conferences, seminars, group discussions, andworkshops on the “Just in Time” production control system for their logistics and supply chain. He formulated numerous ways & ideas to strategically reduceshipment life span with various cost-effective measures by scheduling production, balancing product demand with plant capacity, and availability of inputs.
In 2019, logistics witnessed the worst ever pandemic situation – COVID-19.Logistics & Shipping industry faced a turbulent time ever in history. In thistough situation, Dr. Singh’s plethora of solutions were instrumental to theindustry and his customers overcoming this challenging period. He successfully delivered many corporate conventions, meetings with shipping authorities & logistics conferences to conquer abrupt pricing & shipping schedules. His problem-solving skill catered to various customers’ supply chain needs.
He is a globetrotter and has extensively traveled to several countries. His natural positive approach captivated a strong International Partner network leading to company businesses growing manifold. He also has a profound knowledge of risk assessment in a complex environment as circumstances are ever-changing being logistics dynamic in nature.
He passionately rendered his whole-hearted efforts for more than twodecades across various organizations which paved his path for a phenomenally successful career.
