Allcargo Terminals has secured a 10-year extension from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to operate its Container Freight Station (CFS) at JNPT, Nhava Sheva, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Speedy Multimodes. The extension reaffirms JNPA’s confidence in Allcargo Terminals’ operational capabilities and strengthens Speedy Multimodes’ role as a strategic CFS at India’s largest container port. Located just 5 km from JNPT, the CFS offers faster turnaround times, improved operational efficiency, and cost optimisation for customers. Spread across 53 acres, with 8.5 acres of warehousing, the facility has a throughput capacity of 180,000 TEUs and dedicated zones for specialised and over-dimensional cargo (ODC). Planned infrastructure upgrades in partnership with JNPA will further enhance capacity and service levels, supporting growing cargo volumes and contributing to JNPA’s vision of handling 10 million TEUs by 2027.
