
Shares of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd remained in focus after the Adani Group flagship reported a 16 per cent year-on-year rise in cargo volumes to 42.5 MMT in February 2026, as per according to a regulatory filing dated March 2. Growth was driven by a 14 per cent YoY increase in container volumes and a 15 per cent YoY rise in dry cargo. On a year-to-date basis, total cargo handled reached 454.7 MMT, up 11 per cent YoY, supported by a strong 20 per cent growth in containers. The Ahmedabad-headquartered company also recorded a 3 per cent YoY increase in logistics rail volumes to 52,101 TEUs during the month, while GPWIS volumes declined 8 per cent YoY to 1.7 MMT. For the year to date, rail volumes rose 10 per cent to 6.40 lakh TEUs, while GPWIS volumes edged lower to 19.7 MMT.
