Asia-Pacific airlines recorded a notable increase in air cargo volumes in November, driven by stronger export activity across key Asian economies. According to preliminary November 2025 traffic figures released by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA), international air cargo demand in the region rose by 6.2% year-on-year, measured in freight tonne kilometres (FTK). The growth was largely supported by rising exports from Southeast Asia and India, along with inventory restocking and heightened e-commerce shipments ahead of the year-end festive season. These factors combined to bolster air freight demand across regional and international markets. During the same period, offered freight capacity increased by 7.2% year-on-year, slightly outpacing demand growth. As a result, the average international freight load factor declined marginally by 0.6 percentage points to 61.9% in November.
