Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) organised a trade exhibition as part of the CIAL International Cargo Summit, underscoring the importance of air cargo in facilitating trade and strengthening export–import operations. The exhibition comprises 54 stalls representing airlines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, exporters and importers, cargo automation solution providers, and organisations from the logistics skill development sector. It also features participation from agricultural enterprises, medical product exporters, and key public sector institutions including the Spices Board, Rubber Board, Coconut Development Board, APEDA and MPEDA. An export facilitation stall of the Department of Posts has also been set up.
As part of its efforts to support new and aspiring exporters, the CIAL Incubation Centre is operating at the exhibition venue. An initiative of CIAL Air Cargo, the centre is designed to provide structured guidance and operational support to first-time exporters.
The incubation centre offers comprehensive information on export procedures, regulatory frameworks, legal compliance and documentation requirements. It also enables direct interaction with relevant government agencies and professionals from the cargo and logistics sector, while facilitating networking opportunities for businesses seeking to enter international markets.
