CK Govil, CMD, Activair Airfreight, said, “West Asia tensions are creating volatility in global energy supply chains, primarily through disruptions in shipping routes, rising insurance, and freight costs. For India, which imports a crude oil, it could lead to higher energy prices and longer transit times. While India has diversified its sourcing and strengthened reserves, instability may still hike logistics costs and inflationary pressures across industries. Ongoing supply chain troubles, container shortages, labour constraints, infra bottlenecks, and shifting trade policies are reshaping Indian industry and agents.”
