DTDC Express has partnered with Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) to strengthen logistics access across HP’s remote regions. The collaboration enables DTDC consignments to be transported via HRTC’s extensive bus network, ensuring reliable connectivity across difficult terrain. In the first phase, routes such as Shimla–Rampur, Rampur–Reckong Peo, Shimla–Chidgaon, and Shimla–Karsog have been activated, with plans for expansion. The initiative simplifies parcel movement by reducing multiple handling stages, leading to faster and consistent deliveries. This integrated model is likely to benefit MSMEs and local traders by improving market access, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and supporting economic activity in remote hill regions.
