The FIATA HQ meet, held in Geneva recently, brought together 300 logistics professionals for a series of engaging and insight-driven sessions. FIATA President Dr. Thomas Sim, Senior Vice Presidents Jens Roamer and Yukki Hanaffi, Secretary General Keshav Tanna, and Treasurer Neil Taylor, inaugurated the event. FIATA Secretariat, under the leadership of Dr Stéphane Graber, Director-General, organised the meetings. Often referred to as the Spring Meetings, they featured discussions on industry topics, including digital learning, multimodal corridors, sustainability, de minimis e-commerce, and emerging technologies in forwarding. Sessions on air freight, multimodal transport, and training enriched the programme. External speakers also contributed to the perspectives, making the sessions engaging for attendees. The delegates look ahead to the next major event — the FIATA World Congress 2026 — scheduled to take place on the FIATA’s centenary year, in Milan from 6 to 9 October.
