CJ Darcl Logistics in partnership with Volvo, has taken a step forward in its sustainability journey with the introduction of its first heavy-duty Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). The partnership marks a transition from pilot initiatives to higher-capacity electric logistics operations and a shared commitment to advancing sustainable and future-ready logistics solutions. The newly inducted vehicle is the first heavy-duty BEV in CJ Darcl’s portfolio. It is the third heavy-duty BEV that Volvo trucks have launched in India, which makes CJ Darcl, among the first firms in India to implement this technology. “Sustainability is becoming central to how logistics networks are designed and operated. With this induction, we are moving towards integrating cleaner technologies into mainstream operations.
