Indian Railways has rolled out RailParcel, a pilot initiative aimed at enhancing parcel transportation through comprehensive digital integration. The programme is being implemented by the South Central Railway (SCR) zone and is currently undergoing trials in seven major cities: Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
The initiative, branded as ROQIT, is a specialised digital platform developed by AION-Tech Solutions. It functions as the central digital framework, streamlining operational processes and ensuring coordinated engagement among all stakeholders.
