Dileepa BM, CEO, Bonded Trucking, Shreeji Translogistics said, “India’s logistics sector is facing several operational bottlenecks that hinder efficiency, despite initiatives like PMGS and NLP. The most critical challenges are digital adoption as the sector lags in adopting cutting-edge technologies, such as AI, IoT, and blockchain, which can improve supply chain visibility and streamline operations. The sector faces a shortage of skilled manpower, particularly in areas like SCM and warehouse automation. To address these challenges, the government and private sector can work together to streamline regulatory frameworks, which includes introducing single-window clearances and harmonise rules across states.
