Western India is cementing its position as the powerhouse of India’s logistics and warehousing sector, with Maharashtra and Gujarat driving unprecedented growth through infrastructure expansion, industrial development, and supply chain modernisation. The Intralogistics & Warehousing Expo 2026, co-located with the Material Handling Expo and Pharma Supply Chain Expo, will take place from 14 to 16 May at the Bombay Exhibition Centre to shape the future of India’s supply chain ecosystem. Mumbai alone accounted for 42 per cent of India’s warehousing absorption in early 2026, while Mumbai and Pune together contributed 80 per cent of leasing activity, highlighting the region’s dominance.
