Reema Jogani, Director, Reema Transport, said, “Lower logistics costs are due to better roads, smoother movement of goods, GST-led supply chain simplification, digital tools, such as FASTag, e-payments, and improved fleet usage through technology. Despite this, challenges remain, including weak first- and last-mile connectivity, urban congestion, driver shortages during some seasons, fragmented warehousing, different state-level regulations, and limited technology adoption among smaller transporters, which impacts overall efficiency.”
