The Noida Authority has appointed School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) to prepare a comprehensive City Logistics Plan (CLP) focused on enabling efficient, sustainable and climate-friendly urban freight movement. The plan will include sector-wise strategies, extensive stakeholder consultations and capacity-building initiatives to improve last-mile logistics, reduce traffic congestion and lower emissions across the city. The CLP initiative is being guided by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry through the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). Following a national-level workshop on city logistics planning held on June 25, 2025, Noida was shortlisted for the development of this detailed plan aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency and sustainability of urban freight systems.
