India’s warehousing sector is evolving rapidly, driven by increasing demand for efficient supply chain solutions, infrastructure development, and strategic investments across key regions. Recent developments by warehousing sector are set to boost growth and strengthen the country’s logistics ecosystem. Recently, Om Logistics secured land allotment for the development of a state-of-the-art logistics hub in Unnao along the Ganga Expressway. The allotment has been facilitated by Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority, marking a significant step forward in the company’s previously proposed `150 crore investment plan in Uttar Pradesh (UP). This development aimed at strengthening logistics infrastructure, enhancing regional connectivity and improving supply chain efficiency across North India. The Unnao logistics hub is expected to play a critical role in enabling faster consignment movement, optimising distribution networks and supporting industrial growth along the Ganga Expressway corridor. The project aligns with the state government’s vision to attract large-scale investments and develop world-class infrastructure to position Uttar Pradesh as a major logistics and industrial hub. This initiative is also expected to generate employment opportunities in the region while contributing to the broader industrial ecosystem of UP.

Om Logistics Supply Chain has also inaugurated its new warehousing facility in Balana. Spread across more than 1,00,000 sqft, this development highlights a strategic move to strengthen logistics and supply chain capabilities in the region. In line with this, the strategic expansion enhances regional connectivity, enabling quicker movement of consignments across key industrial hubs. The location advantage, supported by improved distribution capabilities, is expected to reduce transit timelines and support seamless delivery. Looking ahead, the Balana facility demonstrates a strategic approach to building future-ready logistics assets, equipped with handling equipment and digital inventory tracking to cater to diverse industry requirements.
