Port of Antwerp-Bruges will undertake a high-level roadshow across India from 19 to 23 January 2026, reaffirming its long-standing partnership with the country and deepening cooperation on the energy transition. Led by Mr. Tom Hautekiet, Chief Business Development & Transition Officer of Port of Antwerp-Bruges and Chairman of the Belgian Hydrogen Council, the delegation will visit Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Delhi, along with a strategic site visit to Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. The roadshow will focus on strengthening collaboration in green hydrogen and green ammonia trade, port connectivity, and future India–Europe energy corridors. As part of the programme, Mr. Hautekiet will engage with senior leaders from India’s energy and infrastructure sectors and speak at a Green Hydrogen symposium organised by GH2 India in Delhi. The visit underscores India’s growing importance in Europe’s clean energy ambitions and highlights Port of Antwerp-Bruges’ role as a key gateway for sustainable trade, supported by its investments in hydrogen infrastructure, carbon capture, renewable energy, and its goal of becoming carbon-neutral by 2050.
