Trade turmoil drops cargo reliability: CargoAi

Air cargo reliability dipped last year as airlines adjusted capacity in response to shifting trade policies, and tariff developments, as per a new report from CargoAi. Using its Delivery As Promised methodology, CargoAi found airline performance fell year-on-year in nine out of 12 months, with the sharpest drops recorded between May and July. The overall DAP score for the year stood at 62.7 per cent, reflecting the impact of network reshuffling, handling bottlenecks, and peak season pressures. CargoAi stated the US de minimis tariff reforms disrupted Asia–US e-commerce flows, forcing reroutes and capacity realignments leading to delivery delays and increased volatility across major trade lanes.
