TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has signed an MoU for 10 acres of land in Siliguri, marking a strategic expansion of its footprint in Eastern India. Located at the gateway to Northeast India, Siliguri serves as a critical logistics hub with strong multimodal connectivity to key domestic and international trade corridors, including Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. The proposed development is expected to strengthen regional logistics efficiency, support local businesses, generate employment, and accelerate the shift towards organised Grade A warehousing in the region. Commenting on the development, Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, highlighted West Bengal’s strategic importance and the rising demand for modern warehousing driven by sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG, pharma, and regional distribution networks. This marks TVS ILP’s second major investment in West Bengal, reinforcing its long-term commitment to high-growth logistics markets.
